Survivor what?!

I've heard Survivor Philippines has started.

I'm confused. Hindi pala sa Pilipinas ginawa yun? Pero bakit Survivor Philippines ang title?

Hindi ba dapat Survivor+location and title? Parang Survivor Palau, Survivor China, etc. etc. kasi dun kinunanan mga episodes.

Pero yung local copycat, Survivor Philippines daw pero kahit isang isla sa Pilipinas hindi naman ata nakita.


Amf! La lang.

    Kakaaliw nga ang show. Survivor ek-ek nga, pormadong naka 2-piece halos lahat ng mga bubae. Haha.

    Nanunod ako nito nng first day. Pareho kami ni Aajao nainis ke sa host na si Paolo Bediones putak ng putak parang naging cheap yung show kasi akala nya siguro tok tok tok yung game hahaha.

    Sabi nila nasa rules daw ng Survivor yun na di pwedeng magshoot sa host country ang show [sabi nila pero di ko sure hahaha].

    Dapat ang title nya e Thailand Survivor hahaha.

    ganun talaga concept ng survivor. they don't shoot the season sa "host" country. take for example the US version, they never shot the series in the US but in other countries like Australia and Thailand. Ang mga contestants ang dapat from the "host" countries.

    btw, how good is survivor philippines compared to the US version?

    hala... naguluhan ako sa mga comments! saan ba talaga shinoot? sa thailand or france? fan ako ng survivor pero nawala na din. mas maganda pa rin yung original survivor...

    mukhang ang dami ng naiinis kay paolo ah? 2nd day pa lag yan ha? hahahaha! pero sana mapanood ko pa rin... :)

    when the 1st Survivor came out, I don't think it had the name of the location where they shoot. I guess, the "Philippines" is there to distinguish it from the orig Survivor. Kung may 2nd season ang Survivor Phil, dun na siguro lalagyan ng location e.g. "Survivor Philippines - Timbuktu".

    I think they only do survivor+location for the US shows, but for other country-based franchises like the philippines, they call it basically Survivor Philippines or Survivor France lang since they are also only aired there.

    my own thought lang po...

    from what i know, ang franchise prohibits them to have the philippines as one of the location "DAW" yon ang bulong saken, kaya may i go out sila to other islands and continents heheh

    Nakasaad po kase sa franchise agreement na dapat sa ibang bansa gawin ang mga challenges. Bakit? Para wala sa kanilang comfort zone ang mga contestants. Para lumabas talaga kung sino ang mas matatag. :)
