Celebrating 10 years of friendship.

I was listening to Tina Arena’s Burn, and my mind just suddenly traveled back 10 years ago. Amf! I couldn’t believe it’s been over 10 years since. It was a year when one of the sincerest friendships I found have started to grow with people I met around the school campus.

Some friends remained, some I never heard of anymore. Friendster, Yahoo, the world wide web, that’s the nearest we could get to each other. I wish I could go back. Aren’t they done building the time machine yet?

I am thankful that God has blessed me with real people, friends who’ve always been there through thick and thin, for 10 years and counting…

Post Valetine post

She‘s been on mind since the first time I laid my eyes on her. She’s gorgeous, beautiful in the outside, and she’s got all these special qualities inside her that I couldn’t resist.

I want her.

I’ve never been this determined before. It’s about time, I thought. I find valentines day too cheesy, so I waited a few days after February 14th.

Sweet?

Feeling ecstatic that day, I finally made a move. I prepared everything that I need to bring and made a decision. It’s now, or never. I sneaked out of my room, took a cab and proceeded to our meeting place.

I arrived just on time. I peeked through the clear glass window, and there she is…stunning in red! Passersby couldn’t help but stop and take a look.

She seems quite ready; I know she’s waiting for me.

I’ve never been this excited and so happy. She’s mine now. I’m gonna cherish her, love her, adore her.

My baby…

Cheers!

American Idol, Joanna Pacitti: Out!

She was Carly Smithson version 2. Well, almost. One of my favorites this year, Joanna Pacitti is now disqualified and pulled out of the Top 36. Reason still unknown, perhaps because of the record (that didn't sell)? Feeling sorry for her.

Too bad. Add to the disappointment the inclusion of the very annoying Tatiana "Oh my God! Oh my God!" del Toro. I can't wait to see her go home...first!

Too much reality TV for me. It gets kinda boring sometimes, so I divert my attention to looking for some other talents, who are so hidden they're always unnoticed.

I admire these guys for being so good at taking footage from the right angles without exposing each other. That's what makes the Amazing Race amazing for me. You get to see everything 360 degrees that you wonder, who's holding the cameras?

I saw one in Amazing Race (Rob and Amber season), when one group had an accident. Never in American Idol.

Until last Thursday.

The camera man.

Way to go!

Slumdog Millionaire

Have you seen the movie? Due to the hallelujah's that I've been hearing about it, I tried to look for a copy from the ever reliable DVD-copy stands. I got one. That was two weeks ago.

I love it! To be fair, I'll watch it again; on the big screen.

In the name of pride, and nationalism, I was never really into watching Chinese or Bollywood films before. In fact, I only saw Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 8 years after it's international success. That was perfection.

Which makes me wonder, ba't hindi tayo makagawa ng ganun? Nagkasya na lang ba tayo sa mga indie films?
