Mount Clitoris

.

Admit it. You were also intrigued by the name.

Mount Clitoris (formerly Mount Mogao) rises serene and solemn above a peaceful Barangay Cagubatan in Tadian, Mountain Province, also home to enchanted eels.

Aside from its name, I find the place quite amazing, because it kinda resembles this:

it actually is not formerly known as Mount Mogao... it is Mt. Mogao but is also called Mt. Clitoris maybe because of its topography and that if viewn from a place called Lenga, a nearby barangay, you can see a lake just below it...

Thanks for the correction Mr/Ms Anonymous!

A very beautiful Mt but its disgraceful to distroy its original name. Its not formerly Mt. Mogao, it is still Mt. Mogao. Lets not pollute its wonderful and beautiful nature. There was a reason behind its original name.

To the publisher of this picture. CORRECTION PLS. IT IS NOT FORMERLY MOUNT MOGAO AS YOU CLAIM THE NAME TO BE . IT IS AND UNTIL NOW, FOR US ITADIANS, IT IS STILL OUR VERY OWN ORIGINALLY NAMED MOUNT MOGAO. AND YOU CANNOT CHANGE THAT (TELL US YOUR LEGAL BASES FOR CALLING IT FORMERLY). FOR ALL READERS AND VIEWERS, PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT WE THE ITADIANS WOULD LIKE TO BE IT KNOWN THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MOUNT CLITORIS REPORTEDLY FOUND IN CAGUBATAN TADIAN, MT. PROVINCE.WHAT WE HAVE THERE IS MOUNT MOGAO ONLY, NOTHING ELSE. THANKS.

Calling it Mount Clitoris is an improvement over Mt. Mogao.

I was born in Tadian Poblacion and grew up in Lenga,Tadian,MT PRO.We used to hike from Lenga to Tadian when we were young so i know this mountain very much.It was called Mt.Mugao back then and is still Mt.Mugao presently. The name has not been changed, dinagdagan lang.It is also called Mt.Clitoris now a days. The new name is more popular now though, maybe because the veiw does resemble the THING he he!From my village..the veiw is beautiful..this little mountain and a lake close by.For me,it can be called either way.
What's wrong with the name Mt. Clitoris?
