Sweet tooth

An officemate just shared us this story.

Then fresh from college, she applied for a job for the first time.
She’s through with all the exams and interviews and she’s up for the final interview

Despite being nervous, the interview started all right.
Then came the dreaded question:

"What is your weakness?"

She decided not to deliver a speech she got from a job-interview-how-to’s handbook, she said she wanted to give a fresh answer, but she ran out of words instead.

After a few seconds of dead air and uhms… she went:

"Uh, my weakness?! Uh…well...

...chocolates!!!"

And the very serious interviewer started laughing.

We couldn't help but laugh too and our initial question was, did you get the job?!

Say she answered all the other questions well and you are the interviewer, are you gonna hire her?

It we be great to have someone with a good sense of humor join ur team. Hehe. :9

I'd hire her if all the other answers had been great. That was an unguarded answer which simply revealed an innocent yet playful personality.

i'd consider hiring her had i been the interviewer. she's witty. ;)

If I'm impressed with her other answers, why not? :)

r-yo, yes, she's got playful and likable personality.

yoshke, wow, dami pala niya mapapasukan na work, :)

mugen, i'd probably do the same.

abaniko, baka mas lalo di siya papasa pag ganun.

abou, madali mabribe ng sweets? hehe

anna, no she didn't. Too bad, maybe because she was applying for a job in a BANK. Right answer/personality at the wrong place?

YES, only if she can give me another quick follow up joke which is also good for a laugh.

There's a difference between "unintended to be funny" from "really funny"! (--,)

By some chance.

I would want to think that she's done the wrong thing, but nothing beats honesty. So as attitude.

So it's a conclusion of a right mood at a right time.

Miss Universe question! hahaha!

okay lang naman yun and it would actually make a sense or would break the ice...kung ako HR, i would definitely hire her...

i heard a story from a friend as well. someone was asked during a final interview in a bpo. why did you want to work in a bpo or call center?

she answered, because you know, ...call center is a booming industry and i want to be in the BOOM!!!

hahahaha...pasabog!!

reyn, too bad, the interviewer thought the answer was not acceptable.
