forced RDOT?!? is it legal?

I'm furious, our office declared an RDOT for tomorrow a week ago and it is FORCED as in attendance is a must. I asked an HR from another company and he told me I have all the rights not to attend since it's a rest day.

My TL just informed me that "neglect of duty" would be my maximum possible sanction should I be absent.

That angers me more!!!

Rest Day Over Time? ano po yung RDOT? walang forced-forced OT. leche sila. palibhasa inutil ang labor department sa bansa natin kaya umaabuso ang ibang mga employers eh. hahaha. puso mo! puso ko rin! hahaha

tingin ko legal siya provided voluntary. saka isa pa more than two hours of mandatory at hidni voluntary ay hindi legal...

alternati, thanks to that. So may kasama ako absent. hehe

wanderingcommuter, hindi ako nag-volunteer so that makes it illegal. LOL

i hate doing anything that's spelled out in an office memo. nagiging suwail ako, he he he. but you know what? some people i know don't do much on regular working days para makapag-OT sila on weekends. malaki yata ang pangangailangan...

hi Anna, dami din ganyan sa amin, they'd even file for a VL then papasok during their rest day for an RDOT.
