Bourne to be a chef

I just miss watching movies with my friends. We meet, eat, usually catch the last full show and go to our favorite bar after, for a drink, if not feasting on pizza or waffle and coffee at Pizza Volante (uh..how i miss the place!). That was back in Baguio...

"Friendship is a pretty full-time occupation if you really are friendly with somebody. You can't have too many friends because then you're just not really friends.”

Recently...

"Napanood mo na yung daga?" That was the text I received from JP. It was my day off and was in my room watching TV. JP is my board mate. "Anong daga?" sagot ko. "Ung Ratatouille ba yun?" sagot niya...he actually misspelled the title, but anyway, i liked the movie. I actually had no plans to watch it unless I'm invited...I'm not just fond of animations, but watching this rat made it all worth it. It's message "everybody can cook" is convincing, although never applicable to me.

There was Bourne Identity, then Bourne Supremacy, now, here comes Bourne Ultimatum. I liked the first two, and I thought Bourne Ultimatum would be just the same. I didn't expect much from the movie and so it has totally surprised me. It's one of those movies that you don't mind ignoring your exploding bladder because you don't wanna miss a scene! Two thumbs up for Matt Damon!

Waterworld

It was 1995 and I wasn't aware about what movie critics were rambling about. I didn't know that the movie was a flop, not until 10 years later. I felt surprised to hear (yes, after 10 years!) that one of my favorite movies was regarded as one of the most expensive flops in movie history.

I'm talking about Waterworld. The title of my blog is (very) Waterworld, so when Honney said she likes it, I thought I should give credit to whom it's due, yes, my blog title is obviously inspired by the movie...

One of the most expensive movies ever made (the final word is $172 million), it's always given the rotten-tomato ratings by most viewers, I enjoyed watching the movie on the big screen 12 years ago and I never get tired watching it on HBO, and now I'm wondering, err, if I'm alone?

Trinoma

It's just a 10 minute walk away from my place but not a mall addict, i never really had the time to visit this mall...just got curious that i hear a lot of people at work talking about it. This latest addition to the Ayala malls is huge, still at it's last phase of construction, it was opened to the public a month ago.

The facade. It was 10 in the morning and the place was not crowded yet. Great time to walk around...

The main entrance.

This part reminds me of SM Baguio.

Still part of the main entrance. The area is open, lighting and ventilation - all natural. So glad to know that those vegetations are real!

A roof deck park walkway...cool!

I'd call this a hanging garden...a park at the roof deck, with coffee shops and restaurants around.

Lastly...
The entertainment area, the interior centerpoint.
